Thanks again. Memories of running to the church basement after an insufferable Sunday School class (they were not all bad but one teacher in particular was not really "into it") and finding the spread of donuts (or doughnuts, right!) with so many colors, sprinkles, frostings. While so many went for the colored frostings I loved them all but tried for the eclair with Bavarian cream... sometimes they had them! Do not eat them not either and it is worth having lost the weight. Blessings to You and Yours this weekend.

I donut know why people wouldn't love this post, Charles!🍩 When we were poor college students, my roommates and I would head over to Dunkin Donuts before closing, and rescue them from an uneaten fate!! I think you're still serving and protecting!

See, I'm one of those "newbies" who didn't see this the first time. But I have a question for you: if it doesn't have a hole, does it count as a donut? See, I like Boston creme with the custard but the only hole gets filled by the custard.

Not sure just how "purist" you are.

Oh, no problem, I love cream filled and jelly filled as well.

AI says this:

No, a donut doesn't have to have a hole; many types of donuts, like filled or spherical ones, are made without a hole.

I like the donut holes, too. If it’s sweet, it’s for me.

You and John Dobbs hit the like button last year. My wife rounded out the three likes I got. Thanks for hanging in Jerry.

One summer between college years I worked in a bakery, including frying donuts and filling Bismarks. It kinda helped me to cut back that appetite.
