AMEN! We can and we will get back into patriotism. I think that for many inside government their main objective above all else is to remain in government. Energies go into remaining in government and living off their citizens' forced money i.e. taxes. This seems true for a lot... not all, but a lot. USA patriotic songs are so beautiful!
Blind patriotism. Religious superiority. Fear of other cultures.
These are not strengths—they’re the greatest blocks to emotional and spiritual growth in the West.
Too many still believe: 🇺🇸 Their country is beyond reproach
✝️ Their religion is the only truth
⚔️ Others are a threat, not equals
This mindset breeds war, racism, and division. It justifies bombing children while claiming moral high ground. It teaches pride without empathy, history without accountability.
Real strength is in humility.
Real growth comes from understanding.
No nation, no faith, no culture holds all the answers.
The future depends on letting go of superiority—and learning to live as equals.
Charles, thank you for a patriotic, uplifting article. I say much the same in https://jacksotallaro.substack.com/p/why-i-am-thankful-for-independence
and again wonder how great minds think alike!
Have the best Independence Day.
